Class Overview
For MBSR and private session graduates only: Unplug, re-connect and refresh your mindfulness practice with fellow mindfulness explorers who have graduated from Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or private mindfulness sessions. We'll engage with our senses, commune with nature and the present moment through various practices like awareness of breathing, sound, body scan, walking meditation (outside weather permitting) self-compassion, mindful movement and yoga. Saturday, April 13th from 10:00am-2:00pm Location: Townsend Community Center in Altoona (6615 NE 41st Ave, Altoona, IA 50009) The Townsend Community Center used to be a residential home and has a wonderful natural, private backyard with a pond. Our group is the only one able to use this space during the retreat, meaning less noise, less distractions, more time to rejuvenate, meditate, and enjoy some much needed space. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made 7 or more days prior to date of first class: Full fee is transferable for use within 6 months from session start date. Cancellations made 24 to 72 hours prior to date of first class: 50% of full fee is transferable for use within 6 months from session start date. Less than 24 hours notice prior to date of first class, no shows, and withdrawing mid-class: Full fee is forfeited. We must have at least 12 participants to host a class and no more than 18 (If minimum is not reached, and the class needs to cancel, students will get a full refund.) If you pay via the online credit card system or Paypal and you request a refund, From Within Wellness, LLC will refund you the total amount less a 3.5% surcharge fee for credit card processing.
